John Cage and Ray Kass Exhibit
In January 2007, Ray Kass put on an exhibit of one of his large assemblages, plus works done by John Cage during the Mountain Lake Workshops led by Ray in Virginia, 1988 and 1990. Dancer Merce Cunningham, who lived with Cage for many years, attended. The piece by Ray is an arrangement of paint trays he's used while creating other projects. After the opening, I shot some street scenes on the way to a restaurant with my wife, Anne.
